Newspaper to Host Valentine’s “Cutest Couple” and “Longest Married” Contests

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Western Observer is inviting the community to participate in two special Valentine contests: Cutest Couple and Longest Married.

The contests are free to enter and will run for one week, with winners announced and featured in the following week’s edition of the newspaper, as well as on the newspaper’s website and social media platforms.

Participants in the Cutest Couple Contest are asked to submit a photo of themselves and their partner along with their names. The winner of the Cutest Couple Contest will receive a fish dinner provided by Brazos Bend Cowboy Church on Valentine’s Day.

For the Longest Married Contest, couples should submit their names, wedding date, and the number of years they have been married. The couple married the longest will be recognized and featured in print and online as well as a fish dinner provided by Brazos Bend Cowboy Church on Valentine’s Day.

Winners from both contests will be highlighted as part of the newspaper’s Valentine coverage, celebrating love, commitment, and long-standing relationships within the community.
