Annette Ray

Annette Ray, 73, of Wister, Oklahoma, passed away on March 27, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on September 3, 1951, in Paris, Texas, to Ruby Nell (Donham) Rich and Andrew Mack Gra ham. Annette was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved grandson, Michael Don Rice. Annette was a loving and caring soul who always put others first. One of her greatest passions was dancing, which brought her much joy throughout her life. She enjoyed travel ing in her RV and often could be found exploring new places with her loved ones. Annette also had a love for the excitement of the casino, playing bin go, and making beautiful stationary. She often spent time playing games on her computer. Annette’s heart was also full of love for her dogs, with many furry compan ions who filled her life with joy, including Baby Bree, Brutus, Houser, Bear, Zeus, Stubby, Lil Brutus, and many others who have passed. However, nothing brought Annette more hap piness than cruising around in her golf cart with her husband, Jerry and spend ing time spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband Jerry Ray; daughters Rox anne Plymale, Gidget, Tena Taylor, Tabatha Ander son, and Donna Ray; son David Hawkins; brother, Bill Emmons; numerous grandchildren; brothers Andy Clyde Graham and Doug Graham; and a host of family and friends who will miss her deeply. A graveside service will be held for Annette Ray at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma. Jim Cook will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, Okla homa, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklaho ma
